I have to speak as you find and can say I have been very well looked after at our local practice for many years. I have been fortunate to have been cared for by doctors and nursing staff that listen and care. They are under tremendous pressure as funding and resources are stretched...this is a government issue and hold them totally responsible for the state some of our services are in today. Getting an appointment with the doctor of your choice can be difficult some times...but the do try. I have always found the phones answered promptly and with curtesy. Yes I think a review generally is required as to how funding and services can be improved. I am afraid this government knows the cost of everything ....and the value of nothing as they say... I try to get my doctor to telephone me rather than clutter up the surgery ..some times it works.
